The 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan recently came into JEP Autoworks for what was expected to be a straightforward project. However, as the process unfolded, that simple vision quickly shifted into a comprehensive, full-scale restoration. When the customer first purchased the vehicle, the plan was for light restoration. Yet once our team began the inspection, it became clear that far more work would be needed. During the tear-down, we uncovered multiple underlying issues that demanded skilled attention. Consequently, the project steadily grew in scope. Instead of limiting the work to surface-level fixes, we expanded the build into a restoration that would guarantee reliability, safety, and the timeless appeal that a Ford Tudor deserves.
